Pride & Legacy

Lately, it’s felt like our community has been carrying a quiet weight.

In just a few weeks, we’ve seen beautiful souls around us facing the unimaginable. Lives lost, lives altered, and lives still fighting. Whether it’s mental health battles, sudden medical emergencies, or accidents that shake us. It’s been a lot. It reminds us that behind the glitter, basslines, and curated feeds, real people are quietly navigating some really tough moments.

June is Pride Month, and it’s a time to celebrate how far we’ve come. The freedom we get to live, love, and express ourselves out loud is built on generations of resilience. But pride isn’t just a party, it’s a legacy. And legacies need care to continue.

So let this be a gentle nudge:
If you’re struggling mentally, physically, emotionally, please talk to someone.
A friend. A doctor. A support line.
Have honest chats with your GP about your lifestyle. Get the tests. Ask the questions. Monitor your health. Advocate for your body and your mind.
And if you feel like you’re spiraling, know this: you are not a burden. You are loved. And you’re allowed to ask for help.

Yes, we live boldly. We take risks. We chase freedom. But that same boldness can extend to taking our wellbeing seriously, to looking out for ourselves and each other.

Let’s keep each other safe. Let’s keep showing up. Let’s keep this legacy alive. 🏳️‍🌈
